Link’s Golf Shack LOVES Planet Earth! We take our responsibility to protect the planet, and all of her wonderful resources, seriously. Here are some things we do to help make the planet a better place for all of us:
- LED LIGHTING: We use LED lighting in our work spaces wherever possible. LED lighting is more energy-efficient, it lasts much longer, and it doesn’t contain toxic materials like mercury.
- RECYCLING: We recycle everything possible. Recycling conserves natural resources by reducing the need to extract raw materials like timber, minerals, and fossil fuels. It also diverts materials from landfills where they ultimately require being buried or incinerated. Recycling also reduces pollution associated with the extraction of raw materials.
- PAPERLESS: In all business affairs possible, we have taken Link’s paperless, opting to conserve resources and reduce pollution associated with the production of products we are able to use digitally.
- REDUCE PACKAGING: While shipping, and protecting products during shipping is a necessary part of conducting business, we make many efforts to reduce our footprint in this area. We try to ship all portions of an order at the same time, and utilizing as little packaging as possible. We use resources on hand, such as paper and cardboard, to help protect items during packaging.
- REDUCE CARBON FOOTPRINT: At Link’s, we allow our employees to work from home, eliminating the need for vehicle travel.
- GREEN CULTURE: Our company locations all foster and encourage our team members to support a Green Culture at work and at home, every day. We also educate our Team Members in the impact behaviors have on the environment, and how a Green Culture can make a real difference.
- EARTH DAY: Link’s Golf Shack is a proud supporter of Earth Day, as well as numerous other eco-friendly projects that support preserving the planet, and protecting natural resources and wildlife.
